Lose 30 by 30 Update

I never thought that getting into shape and taking care of a newborn would be this hard.  There are several times a day that babies nap and you can always put them in a stroller /car seat / sling and go, right?  Boy, I was wrong!  My Girly has decided that her longest nap is going to be 45 min and if I’m really, really lucky an hour!  During that time I rush to take a shower, grab something to eat, just rest awhile myself, or write a post.  Also, the weather so far has not cooperated very well for running / walking outside with a baby.  I have taken advantage of as many days as I can, but really that is only once or twice a week.  To make things more complex, I am not really comfortable going to a gym and leaving my Girly in the gym nursery just yet.

When I weighed myself this past Sunday, I had my first gain of weight since starting my 30 by 30 challenge!  I was so deflated, bummed, and disappointed.  I couldn’t bring myself to write a post about it then.  Somehow, I have to find a way of working out more while this weather is still cold and damp.  I have a 5k in May!  So, basically for this next week, I will redo Week 5s plan.  Hopefully, I have more success in accomplishing this goal this week.

How are you doing on your goals?  Any tips you can share with me to get more workouts in?
